Preface
It was just coincidence that brought Saurabh (writer and lyricist) and Moinakh(Music Composer) together on a common platform with an idea to do something creative and experimental in Hindi Music from Kolkata.
Bengal has always been the heart of poetry and music starting from Rabindra Sangeet to Nazrul Geeti and several rock albums but this will be the first time when a hindi music album with a true spirit of Kolkata-The city of

It was required that the album should be versatile and consist of combination of contemporary and regular style of songs with variation to soothe listeners of all age group.
Keeping this in mind all the songs were written and composed.

The album Lafz which is having the USP of being the first Hindi Music Album from Kolkata, containing a flavor of
On one hand it has the content to attract the youth and on other hand its nostalgic melody is bound to create a big impact amongst the middle & old listeners, admirers of music.
Its diversity is a Pandora box with multi color and multi dimensional thoughts embedded in soft harmony which has the capability to soothe and entertain, taking the listener to a voyage of eternity.
Since this album is focused towards the recreation of the mass ,it has been planned to launch it among the mass itself and no other place in Kolkata will be more appropriate than City Centre Salt lake (or some place like that)which can host such gathering.
Lafz team plans to launch the album from city centre on a week end with a big pomp and show to project the core theme which leads to the making of this album.
The launch is suppose to include few celebrities as hosts and known anchors of repute and live songs which will be sung from the stage from this album giving full thrust to the sole motive of propaganda.
A question answer session will also be designed which support the launching and free T shirts of Lafz will be distributed along with other complimentary gifts all through the program.
Two music videos have been planned for which shooting is going on, will be displayed on big LCD screens will add to the celebration.
Further Lafz team plans to have a reality show for the selection of models, forms of which will be available in the CD.
